Welcome to our Interim CEO
Following the departure of our CEO, Sharon Lanfear, we are pleased to introduce you to Nathan Jones (known as Nate) our Interim CEO.
Nate has been involved with UDC since 2017, is the author of 10:10, our youth well-being resource. He has also been involved in the development and co-writing of Table Talk packs including: Wellbeing, Change, Children, Families, and Early Years. He is currently working on the development of three new resources, as well overseeing the work of UDC.
Nate takes on this role at a really challenging time for the charity sector in the UK. Funding is especially challenging, as is mission. However, Nate comes to us with 30 years experience in both the charity sector and church-based ministry. In 1993 he founded the youth mental health charity Teens in Crisis and worked as a school-based counsellor for 10 years. He has been a charity trustee, a chair for two charities, and has extensive experience in charity governance and leadership. Nate has also been a youth pastor in two churches spanning 13 years. He is an effective communicator and is passionate about helping people to find life in all its fullness.
