Coping Strategies
At some point or another almost everyone goes through suffering, pain or damaging circumstances that they would rather avoid.
For some people, life can seem like one continuous assault course. How do you cope when life does not go as you hope or plan for? How do you find strategies for managing the times when life is tough? Part of being able to cope is being prepared in advance to enter a difficult time. Some of this preparation might be storing up times of thankfulness and savouring; demonstrating kindness; learning to forgive; investing in friends and family; looking after the body, mind and soul.

Take time out
Being able to get away from what is going on in your life is a great coping mechanism. It might not be possible to take a two-week holiday, but even a ten-minute walk can help re-calibrate you.
